Об использовании понятия "социальная организация" в менеджериальных исследованиях

The article examines the possibility of using the concept of "social organization" in the context of organizational studies. "Social organization" as one of the key concepts of organizational theory, has an extensive history. Its origins can be found in many of the social sciences (sociology, anthropology, ethnography). However, the practice of using this concept in the context of research in the field of management requires clarification of a number of approaches to the definition of this concept. Since the first half of the 20th century the concept of "social organization" was used extensively by specialists in the field of management. This is evidenced by the work of Russian specialists (N.Vitke) and foreign researchers (Tavistock Institute). At the end of the 20th century interest in the problem increases, the concept is widely used in empirical research in the field of management. However, due to the prevailing research multidisciplinary approach in most cases, have to face a completely different interpretation and definition of this concept. The article is an attempt, based on an analysis of existing definitions of "social organization" to formulate an approach that turned out to be productive for the use of this concept in empirical studies of management problems. To this aims, we formed a model of social organization. This model includes several elements: social structure, social relations are formed on the two types of institutions - formal and informal, as well as a number of characteristics of each of the types of structures
