Школьная дифференциация в социальном контексте: сравнительный анализ двух сельских кейсов

This article is devoted to comparative analysis of two local educational systems in rural area. Regions’ geographical context and socioeconomic differentiation both between and within settlements lead to school differentiation on several levels. These mechanisms produce structural constraints for students’ educational success and aspirations. The differentiation process is reinforced through within-school tracking. Our study reveals the need for more complex analysis of multilevel social differentiation to study school quality.
