Социально-пространственная структура пешеходного пространства

Крашенинников А. В.

The article is a part of a larger project on Cognitive Urbanism - a new discipline in the loine of young cognitive sciences. Architectural interpretation of pedestrian space would impose requirements both for zoning and landscape architecture, and on the configuration and the physical parameters of the surrounding buildings. Socio-spatial "morphotypes", micro-, meso- and macro-levels (set out in the book "Living Quarters") have proven to be useful tools for the analysis and design of pedestrian spaces. Variations of shapes and configurations "morphotypes" reflects the traditions of public life. Spatial aspect of social activity can be described by scenarios (scripting) associated with "morphotypes" according to customs, traditions and norms of behavior. The typology of "morphotypes" can provide the basis for the "scenario" design method, which ensures optimum use of urban spaces.
